CHEMO ROUND 4

They lowered my dose of Oxaliplatin because my neuropathy has been so bad. I still have neuropathy and cold sensitivity but the nausea has been a little better. I had my CEA (tumor biomarkers) repeated yesterday, so hopefully within the next few days I'll have an idea of whether or not my chemo is working! I'm on a new nausea medicine patch called SANCUSO. It costs over $500 per patch. Tomorrow is my Birthday! I'll be 28 years old and I have to be at the doctor to remove my chemo fanny-pack. Not the best birthday celebration. I have an appointment on July 17th at John's Hopkins Cancer Center in Baltimore Maryland for a second opinion on treatment, and possible clinical trials. That means paying for flights for Josh and myself, as well as a hotel room. If anyone can help us out with these costs, it would be greatly appreciated! I might be receiving help from the Corporate Angel Network if they can find me a flight, but I won't know until right before the trip!
