Saw doc again today with a list of questions and Josh by my side. I have oral mucositis, a common side effect of chemo, little ulcers in my mouth that make it hard to eat or even talk. The doc gave me some lidocaine oral suspension. I got a copy of my PET scan images and we went through them. The lesions on my pelvis and spine are very large, much bigger than I anticipated. I have quite a few cancer filled abdominal lymph nodes and multiple little liver lesions. We're planning to do another PET scan after 3 months to see how well the chemo is working. My next round starts on Tuesday, and I'm ready!
